New Year in Praha - Kameeluh

New Year in Praha

Welcome to Czech Republic! OMG! This has really been one of my dreams — to come to Prague. I got this as a Christmas present from Thomas and it was such a big surprise for me. He asked me to open one of the presents he has for me even before we had the Christmas Eve dinner. I was crying so much as I found the flight tickets inside it (I could still cry now just by thinking about it). Certainly one of the best moments in my life to date.

We went just in time to see one of the most popular attractions during New Year’s — which is the traditional fireworks display held every 1st of January. Maybe you know by now, most of this trip is not planned at all. Hahaha. We were in the brink of losing it by not finding a place for the New Year’s Eve dinner. Hehe. Everything we liked was fully booked (of course, typical) Hehe. But thankfully, I must say, Thomas is really good at finding ways for things — he managed to find us a really nice place for NYE. That was the first task upon getting there — and the rest was up to me as to what I want to do.

This trip was no pressure at all. We went on for things that we felt like doing and of course some touristy sight seeing. One of the things that made things easy was their transport system. We practically used their metro and bus as our own hop-on and hop-off tour. Hahaha. Luckily, our hotel is just across one metro station which was really convenient. Czech’s transportation is for one to commend because of its efficiency and reliability. Two thumbs up for that! Although, Prague is fairly small; so most of the famous tourist attractions are actually walking distance from each other.

What can I say? This city is just so beautiful. Everything is actually Instagram worthy and probably a photographer’s haven — both amateur and professionals alike. From the the different architectures they have (I almost broke my neck by turning my head from side to side and up and down. Hehe) and to their food and beers (in which they are famous for as well). So nice that they were able to preserve everything up until now.

Sharing with you some of the photos I took during the trip. Hope you will enjoy even though my photography skills did not do justice for such a pretty pretty place. Hehe.
