I have been craving for some really good steak lately and finally! We got the chance to try out El Gaucho for a little date night. I really don’t know how a good steak should be priced, or how reasonable it can be, but I just want to satisfy my good old taste buds for some juicy and well prepared meat!
I tried to make one at home but I failed — twice. Hahaha. So it’s time to finally get the real thing. Maybe I will just leave it to the experts because they know better. Overall, I had a very satisfying night at El Gaucho. The USDA Prime Rib Eye did not disappoint — had it medium and Thomas had the Filet Steak also medium. Both of our tummies were really happy. We paired it with a Pinot Grigio just because we really love white wine. But maybe next time we will try to have a correct wine pairing. The starters we had were also stellar! The Lobster and Crab Meat Soup was so comforting. While the Avocado Salad was so refreshing!
We were also served by a Filipino staff in their Thonglor branch so I felt well taken care of. Hihi. They even gave us a complimentary caramel vodka shot after our meal.
