For the past few months, I have been so much into Muay Thai even before I came here in Bangkok. Basically just to get fit and try something new. Until I came to love the sport even more. I decided to enroll for more classes here in Thailand so that I can do it more regularly. Then I came across with Muay Thai Camps which is of course very popular here. Coincidentally my friend was interested too so we booked a one week stay at Diamond Muay Thai in Koh Phangan which has a lot of good reviews. And the idea of training in a camp made it look more challenging and also a great way to make new friends.
I must say they really do give out great training for beginners like me and pros alike. I could say that because I did get a lot of good pointers from each of the trainers here and we had camp mates who went for a fight and they actually won. So I guess it’s a good benchmark to say that you can get the training you need to win a match if you are into that.
Overall, the train and stay program at Diamond Muay Thai is superb! The training pattern would consist of cardio exercises, stretching, shadow boxing, bag work and sparring. Almost a week of aches and pain but it was so fun!
