Hi everyone, happy new year! I missed the opportunity to write about our weekend in Barcelona last October. But I decided to share it with you as the new year comes. So, this weekend trip was supposed to be a meet-up with our friends who are living in Spain. We have a couple friends who are already based in Barcelona and Granada.
We haven’t seen them in a while and the opportunity came when two of our friends planned to spend a three week holiday in Europe — including Spain. Having been living in Norway now too, it’s a little bit easier for me to travel over and share at least a weekend with them. Also, the first time we went to Barcelona was so bitin! so we had more reasons to join them. LOL
We were there just in time for Halloween actually. So, we decided to have a day trip in Montserrat and spend a night with them for dinner. There were no concrete plans at all but we just made sure that we can eat a lot of tapas, drink sangria, have paella, and eat junk. LOL!
I was telling them that we have upgraded our meet-ups from just hanging out around the corner of our old office in Manila to hanging out in the middle of Europe. How times have changed and how it has been better for all of us. It’s just nice to know that from being simple workmates we became being close friends that are almost like family. We can always catch up from where we left of from before.
So I will just be sharing some of our photos from this trip. 🙂
Looks like you all had a great catch up in Spain :o)
It’s great being up with old friends in different countries!
I love the sights in Barcelona! I would love to see you go to Egypt next!
